I AM ONCE AGAIN A PROUD FINISHER OF ADIDAS SUNDOWN MARATHON..WOOOhOOOO!! It's the second time I have completed it.. hence.. Some applauded me, and some simply say that I am some siao nang(mad guy), as they don't know why I am torturing myself again after knowing how the experience was like from the previous time.. Most people don't see any purpose in doing so.. which sets me thinking.. what am I exactly doing it for..

After some reflection, I finally concluded. Perhaps, I too, did that for a purpose, however, the purpose is to make my life more fulfilling, and I am really happy to have raced this marathon, because it makes me who I really am.. despite the sore, ache and pain that I am going thru now..

I feel that sometimes living a happy life need not necessarily mean that your life has to be completely purpose driven, but more so if you are living it enough in a manner you wished. It's ok if you like to do childish stuff, and it is ok if you do out of the norm stuff as long as it triggers the happy hormones within you, and let you stay happy sha la la. I think it's fine..

...We are given a life to make the best out of it.. not a life trying to figure out life..

I will be doing the ADIDAS SUNDOWN MARATHON 2010 tonight, starting 2359.. Don't really know what to expect, because it is like my first time participating it alone. Just wishing to see some familiar faces during the run, so that the whole process will be more enjoyable for me. If not, i just hope that the entire run will be a good time of self-reflections and prayers..

The route that i will be doing later..It seems much easier compared to last year's..
