"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our dark that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people don't feel insecure around you.We are all meant to shine as children do. Its not just in some of us; its in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsiously give other people to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. Sir I just wanna say thank you . . . You saved my life." - Timo Cruz played by actor in the movie Coach Carter.

Strangely how a movie quote like this can answer some of the burning questions in my heart..
For those who haven't seen the movie yet. Please watch it. It is very meaningful show.

Exam Results/ 12:35 AM
Wednesday, June 17, 2009

Firstly, really*1000 want to thank God for my results. It is like another classic example how He showers his amazing grace abundantly on me again and again. The semester i just gone through is thought to be hardest in my course duration, and it is proven so by the fact that many people have received disappointing results, however yet, it is the best results i ever received. I got 1 high distinction and 3 distinctions. The 3 distinctions i got were really close shave, because all three are 70 marks on the dot, which is the beginning mark for a distinction grade. Being said, i now have 6 modules that are 70 on dot among the 12 modules i taken so far. That is like half of all the modules i took just nice hit the distinction grade. How lucky(gracious in christian context) can that be. Imagine if i had a mark lesser for each of these, my gpa would be much lower than the current one man.

Now, i am back on track again for my degree in distinction, and hopefully i can maintain it for one more semester, then i can officially be a degree in distinction student. heh. btw that is title given to student, who on average get at least a distinction for all the modules in the course. With that title, a student will be conferred a first class honours if he/she continues to do that extra one year for their honours. First class honours would be good, but i dont have that financial mean to accomplish it. So i guess i would be contented enough if i am blessed with a degree in distinction, as it is already somewhat a big achievement in my life.

Once again..
Thank God!
Amen!

Union problem in Aust/ 10:31 AM
Friday, June 05, 2009

Did my first marathon in life days ago. It was a good run and a good experience man. Perhaps it would even be better if we could all run pass that finishing line together. Abit idealistic, however i still think we could achieve it if we had train longer together before the marathon. The photograph capturing all of us at finishing line together would be awesomely cool man. Alright. Time to train for the next marathon. Standard Chartered Full Marathon 42.195km. Anyone interested ? I can work out a schdeule so that we can train together for it :)

Anyway while typing all this, i am still waiting for my last module exam result. Rmit released 3 of my exam results already, but they didnt release the last one due to a union problem facing australia right now. The education sector in victoria, which includes Rmit university, demands more fundings in their daily operations to breeze thru the current financial downturn. Like what the hell man, since when such affair affect us, students. Using student as a bait to get attention from the government. Its really lame la! When i think of it, i felt really blessed here in Singapore, as we never had such problem before. Just cant wait to get back all my results, so i can enjoy the rest of hols at ease.
