So fast.. this is already the second week of school and my engine have not started. i am still in the holiday mood. How now brown cow??? Anyway, school has been good. i get to know many new friends and i get to see many old friends in school too. haha. The most coincident thing is that bao qi is inside my lecture group and her friend likes someone in the same lecture grp. This is so interesting. HAHA! Another coincident thing is that joanne's class is filled with many of my poly's friends. How i wished i was in her course, then finding project mates would be so much easier. Well, working with new friends might not be that bad also. heh. It expands one's social circle, and this is good because you would never know how they would render you help in future. Afterall Singapore is really small. It is like a virtual friendster. It allows you to meet new people, and also the opportunity to chance upon people whom you lost touch for very long. Everyone knows everyone, or everyone knows one another through one another. Who knows, if we lived long enough, we might get to know everyone in our era.

I am supposed to go for some school's bbq tml, but i have to be in church for worship's pract. Too bad for me. The bbq event felt like some matching making event because of the different dress codes you have to adhere to. If you are single, you have to wear green. If you are attached, you have to wear orange or yellow. If you are attached, however available, you have to wear red. i don't know what they have up in their sleeves, but this bbq event kinda trigger me and it sounds really fun. i believe it is not gonna be a normal bbq event, but something more to it.. haha. Are they gonna play temptation island in SIM?? oh no..

Joanne!! you better update me on this event alright.. i wish you all the best!

Fellowship/ 1:01 AM
Wednesday, January 09, 2008

I just got back from supper. It was raining heavily through out and i was fully drenched like a wet chicken on my way back. Nonetheless, the supper/fellowship we had was really good. Though the food was not up to expectations to some, i guessed everyone still enjoyed each other company. It was really amazing to see people, who are from different lifestyles(studying, working, ns), taking time off just to meet up togt for supper. To some, fellowship may seemed to be a simple gesture, no big deal. But to me, it certainly means alot. Fellowship bonds people togt and brings them up to a higher friendship level. It reminds people that they are never alone, shows people that they always have support of their friends and gives people hopes and strength to overcome their life's obstacles.

My friend, hope you pass your driving test soon!

Happy New Year ALL!!!

I know this is a little late, but it is better to be late than never ya? heh

Yr 2007 flew passed just like that. In neck of an eye, it was gone just like that. Year 2007 was really tiring but an exciting one for me. It was an eventful year. Chain of events happening after one another. Some were really happy and joyous, some were really hurtful and painful, but admist all these events, i would say i have emerged a stronger person now. It is amazing to look back and see how God has moulded me in yr 2007. The process was rush, but the end result is still good. LOL!! Thank God!!

On a not so happy note, the sad incidents in yr 2007 affected me real badly. Like my friend, it made me want to give up on everything as well. Glad that i persevered and made it through somehow with God's grace. I hope my friend can do the same too. My gd ol' fren, if you see this, jia you alright. yr 2008 will be a gd yr for you, you should know why. heh.

To all: Lets just keep the gd memories of 2007, forget the bad ones n move on with our lives.

Most people have accepted as fact that their past defines their present and determines their future.

But..

"Paul says to forget the past. Yet if the past does not determine my present, what does? Paul’s answer is astonishing. He says the future can determine the present! "This one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 3:13-14) Only then, we can greet each moment as a bright and untarnished gift untouched by the past."

A vision of possibilities and destiny can become more powerful than the verdict of the past.

With that, i want to say..
Good bye to yr2007, and a big hello to yr2008!
